American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez will star in two episodes of musical television show Glee Season 4.
The Filipina-American Sanchez will guest star as “a legendary singer from a rival high school” on the May 2 episode of Glee.
She will also be a part of the May 9 season finale of the hit television show.
Aside from Sanchez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will also be in Glee Season 4.
In a press conference in February 2013 in Manila, Sanchez said that she trusts the producers of Glee will find a role that will fit her.
“They always find a way to make the characters relate to high school kids. I’m very excited for that. I’m just a regular teenage girl…I just love to have fun. I just want to follow my dreams and jump into life,” she said.
She added that she has no experience in acting, but that it seems like a “fun” thing to do.
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Sanchez said that she will soon release a single with Ne-Yo.
She will also perform “Tonight” on the results night of American Idol Season 12.
“Tonight” is the lead single in her upcoming album, Me, You & the Music.
The album will be released in May.
She revealed during her press conference that she hasn’t fallen in love yet, so she uses a different technique when performing love songs.
“I sing a lot of songs about love and it’s weird singing about something that I’ve never really experienced in my life,” she said.
“I just try to find a different place. I love my family, I love God and my music and that’s what I put in place of a boyfriend or a lover,” Sanchez added.
