Although she remains loveless now, KC Concepcion admitted to dating a foreigner who she refused to name.
Concepcion has always loved to travel. However, she maintained that she doesn’t go to the countries where her suitors are. Whenever she happens to be there, the actress said she doesn’t even try to contact them.
Instead, she let them come to her and wait for a grand gesture from them before considering if she will date one of them exclusively.
The press asked her about her French suitor Pierre-Emmanuel Plassart, but Concepcion didn’t want to reveal anything about her suitors these days. She admitted feeling something for someone though. But for the meantime, Concepcion doesn’t want to divulge any details first.
So, why doesn’t she want to be public about her love life? The actress said she’s trying to keep things to herself because she doesn’t want to preempt anything just yet.
“And siguro, marami na rin akong nai-share sa public at gusto ko namang ma-experience na mag-isa, bilang babae. At saka ko po ise-share yun kapag ready na ako at magiging boyfriend ko.”
She has also met some local personalities, but she seemed to prefer going out with foreigners these days. Concepcion ended her relationship with Piolo Pascual over nasty controversies about his sexuality.
But the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta doesn’t want to dwell on these things, preferring instead to focus on her new teleserye, “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.”
The actress found it hard to relate to her character, Alexis, someone who will give everything for Eros (Sam Milby). This is the first time Concepcion will play the part of a lovestruck contrabida running after another woman’s man.
But Concepcion found this challenging because she has to research a lot to be able to play her character well.
“Siguro, yun ang pagkakaiba namin na, bilang KC, masasabi ko talaga na may ginagawa si Alexis dito na hindi talaga dapat tularan ng mga kababaihan.”
The actress said there is an Alexis in everyone, which means anyone will want to fight for the person he/she loves. She shared how much fun she had playing Alexis, who was “maldita” in the teleserye.
“Tuwang-tuwa po ako sa character niya. Ito yung tipong nagpapakatotoo siya. Ipinapakita po niya sa viewers ang lahat ng side niya.”
Concepcion was not supposed to accept the role, but she did because Judy Ann Santos personally persuaded her to be part of her comeback teleserye.
