Heart Evangelista Goes To Los Angeles For Gown Fitting

Heart Evangelista flew to Los Angeles on December 19 to have her gown fitting. Heart’s wedding gown will be designed by world-renowned Filipino fashion designer Monique Lhuillier.

Monique was also responsible for the bridal gowns of Olivia Wilde, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Pink, etc.

Heart posted a series of photos on her Instagram account, where she was seen in Monique’s LA couture house.

Aside from her gown fitting, Heart will also be spending Christmas in Los Angeles with her future husband Senator Chiz Escudero and his children, Ma. Cecilia and Joaquin.

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago Will Not Attend Heart Chiz Wedding

Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, who introduced Heart Evangelista to Senator Chiz Escudero, won’t be able to attend the couple’s wedding in February 2015 because of her health condition.

The feisty senator is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.

Because the wedding will be in Balesin Island in Quezon Province, the senator begged off from attending it because she cannot take a long trip. She hasn’t been out of the country for a year because taking airplane rides is bad for her health.

Her only advice to the couple is to be “kind” to one another.

Meanwhile, the senator hinted that she may run for president once her health condition clears up. This is already her third term as senator and as such, cannot possible run for the same position in 2016.

She recently launched a book, and it was a big succcess. Asked if it bolsters her decision to run as president, the senator said “yes and no.” Yes, because it showed that she has plenty of supporters; and no, because she fears the expectations from the people.

Senator Miriam said she is aware of the responsibilities that being a president entails, and she is afraid of failing the young people who seem to be enamored of her lately.

She will, however, going to think about it. First of all, she has to be healthy. Her cancer is in remission, which is a very weak state already.

Senator Miriam said her health is stable now, but she has to be in the best of health for her to become the president because there are so many things that need to be done.

Asked to react on what political analyst Malou Tiquia said that she cannot run for president through the pick-up lines she popularized, the senator shrugged: “I don’t know who she is so I don’t think she’s worth the bother.”

Daniel Matsunaga Wants To Have Dual Citizenship

Daniel Matsunaga is already a permanent resident holder in the Philippines, but he is still seeking to be a naturalized Filipino, in addition to being born Brazilian-Japanese.

Daniel said naturalization is a long process, but he is willing to go through it to have dual citizenship. He is also planning to buy a house, but he cannot do this unless he’s a citizen already. What he can do now is simply rent an apartment.

His sister, Vanessa, is married to a Filipino, while their mother has been staying here for quite some time. Their father will arrive this month to join them for Christmas. Daniel said this is one of the rare times that they will be together as a family.

Daniel has been very busy ever since winning reality show “Pinoy Big Brother All In.” This season, he wants to spend time with his family and if possible, bring them to Bohol and Palawan again.

Since his mother is here, has she seen Daniel’s ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista? Daniel brought Heart to Brazil to meet his parents when they were still together. Daniel said he has no idea if they met face-to-face. It’s just probably on Instagram.

His mother does not have ill feelings towards Heart despite their breakup. Daniel said she’s the best person in the world and he has yet to meet a person as good as his mom’s heart.

“If you guys think I’m good, my mom is twenty-thousand times [more].” She supports him a lot, Daniel said. Most of the time, she’s just praying for everyone.

Meanwhile, Daniel admits missing having a girlfriend. He has consistently said before and after PBB that he is single. Heart, who’s marrying Senator Chiz Escudero in February 2015, was his last girlfriend.

He has no time for a girlfriend now because he’s busy with his career and with his family. He doesn’t even have time to sleep, so how can he have a girlfriend?

In God’s time, He will hopefully bring in his life someone he can share his life with. Although he misses having someone beside him, he has to make a choice now between having a girlfriend and his career. He’s choosing the opportunities coming his way.

Daniel doesn’t want to reveal who his showbiz crushes are. Most of the girls have boyfriends, anyway, he said. He did admit to finding beautiful such actresses as Kim Chiu, Erich Gonzales and Anne Curtis.

Heart Evangelista Denies Disappointment With Gma 7

Heart Evangelista denied she has issues with GMA-7 for the network’s seemingly better coverage of Marian Rivera’s and Dingdong Dantes’ preparations for their wedding.

Heart is also getting married to Senator Chiz Escudero in February 2015. She said the question about the wedding coverage was never asked to her and if it does, she would never say she’s disappointed with the Kapuso network because she owes them a lot.

A blogger came out with the story that Heart is disappointed that the network gives more priority to Marian’s wedding than hers. Marian and Dingdong are set to walk down the aisle on December 30.

Lolit Solis, her co-host in “Startalk,” advised Heart to just be positive and shrug off the negative issues hounding her. Heart said she tries to do that as much as possible, but it gets hard because she can’t help but be affected at times.

She’s just really thankful to the person who uploaded the video.

In the video, Heart said she was affected at first by people comparing hers and Marian’s wedding because she’s such a people pleaser. But she slowly learned to just accept things, and understand that people have their own opinions about things.

It’s “part of the game” that they are constantly being compared to each other.

Jericho Rosales And Kim Jones No Plans Yet To Have A Baby

Jericho Rosales said he and wife Kim Jones are not ready yet to have a baby. They both want to focus on their careers.

It was a mutual decision because Kim’s an achiever and Echo wants to give that freedom to her. As for him, he also wants to achieve a lot of things first before focusing on their baby.

Their “baby” now is their relationship, so they are taking care of that and learning more about each other.

They also want to travel a lot, and it would be difficult to do so if they have “little Kim” and “little Echo” already.

They have been to Europe and Asia for their honeymoon.

Jericho said he is happier now, and he feels a whole lot lighter. He has someone he will grow up with now. He has someone who will help him in his decisions.

The same is with Kim. She looks more beautiful and blooming now. Their friends keep telling them that Kim looks radiant.

Echo can only quip that he’s good at taking care of her.

Asked about the future wedding of his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista, Echo said he only wished her the best. Whenever he hears someone getting married, he gets happy because that’s a different path, an answered prayer.

Solenn Heussaff Gets Tired Being Asked About Derek Ramsay

As much as possible, Solenn Heussaff doesn’t want to talk about her ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay anymore. Ever since she entered showbiz, she has been asked about him already.

Lately, Solenn has been answering questions left and right about Derek because of the VAWC complaint filed against him by his estranged wife Mary Christine Jolly.

She doesn’t have anything to do with that issue anymore because they have broken up long before she entered showbiz, and she didn’t know about his marriage.

Her live-in boyfriend, Nico Bolzico, is aware that Solenn is being asked about Derek. He doesn’t mind that because for them, everyone has already moved on.

She also reacted to what her friend Anne Curtis said that she’s going to get married to her boyfriend next year. Anne is the girlfriend of Solenn’s younger brother, Erwan Heussaff.

It was only a joke on Anne’s parts, Solenn said, adding that they have been living in for three years already, so maybe that wedding will happen in the near future.

But until the public sees a ring on her finger, then it means there are no plans for her and Nico to get married yet. She won’t even put it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, Solenn said.

She uses her Instagram for her work, so if ever she gets engaged, she’d like to keep that to herself. She felt that she has shared herself to the public through social media.

She understands the public fascination on engagements because everyone gets excited about it. Even her, when she sees couples getting engaged, she becomes instantly giddy about the thought of marriage.

Solenn also doesn’t want to ride on the bandwagon just because a lot of celebrity couples are getting engaged this year.

They don’t talk about when Nico is going to propose because she wants to be surprised. If she will ever get married, Solenn said that she will only share her wedding when it’s all done. She might even share it to a bridal book.

Solenn rejected the idea of holding press conferences just to give out details about her wedding. She wants to surprise the people as well.

She wants to get married abroad, most probably in France. She wants a simple wedding–no catering, simple table setting, and around 40 to 60 guests.

She denied that she will shoulder the cost of airfare and accommodation for her future guests. She will only pay for the clothes and make-up but her guests would have to shoulder the other expenses.

Solenn doesn’t get excited anymore about the prospect of living together because she and Nico are like husband and wife anyway, except for the legality. She is more interested in the idea that all their friends will be there.

Her relationship with Nico worked out not because they are both foreigners, but because their needs and wants match. Solenn doesn’t look at the nationality of a prospective boyfriend. She dated a lot of Filipinos in the past.

She knows that Nico is the one for her. It doesn’t take a genius to see that he supports her in everything he does. She had four serious relationships in the past, and there is a reason why each one of them didn’t work out.

Their relationship is very relaxed, and Nico gets along well with her friends and family. She even gave an example of how relaxing their relationship is.

She went home at 7AM one morning from taping of “Ilustrado.” She saw Nico sleeping, so she slept, too. When she woke up, he wasn’t there anymore. There’s no need for them to update each other about everything they do.

Solenn also reacted about Anne’s and Erwan’s relationship. She maintained that she likes Anne for her brother. There was even once instance she said she will hurt Erwan if he breaks Anne’s heart.

Solenn saw them grow as a couple, so she knows they are meant for each other. However, she is sure Erwan has no plans yet to settle down because he’s only 27 years old. Maybe, when he’s 32 years old already, the actress-model said.

Meanwhile, Solenn won’t be attending Dingdong Dantes’ and Marian Rivera’s wedding on December 30. She is not invited and she will also be one of the bridesmaids of Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero.

Solenn denied that her being a bridesmaid at Heart’s wedding was the reason Marian won’t be inviting her. She and Marian are not super close, so she understands that she wants only her close friends in her wedding.

Solenn has been friends with Heart for nine years, even before she joined showbiz. She is happy for both Heart and Marian, she said.
