Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado her rumored reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo. Jennylyn said they are just friends now.
The broke up years ago apparently because Jennylyn is being physically abused by Dennis. Recently, they were seen hanging out and being friendly with each other. Jennylyn said this is just a proof that she can be friends with her ex, just like Mark Herras.
People should not give hidden meanings to sightings of her and Dennis together. Besides, Jennylyn has no time for love now. She has zero lovelife, and she is focused first on her career and her son, Alex Jazz.
One of the qualifications Jennylyn is looking for in a man for her to fall in love with him is his acceptance of Alex Jazz. Jennylyn said the guy should accept her family because that’s a package deal.
Although there are a few guys who are trying to court her, Jennylyn was honest enough to tell them she’s not ready for a relationship right now.
The actress-singer said almost everybody is aware of her situation, so they should really think twice before trying to pursue her.
For now, it is better if she will focus on her career, her family and her son.
Jennylyn is thankful for the blessings coming her way. She received a lot of endorsement offers such as ZH&K. She will be endorsing it together with boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
She is also doing a couple of movies and a teleserye titled “Second Chance” with Raymart Santiago, Rafael Rosell, Luis Alandy and Camille Prats.
She also has a concert this coming October 10, but she cannot give out the details yet because they are still fixing it. Jennylyn will also release an album under GMA Records. It will be a combination of original compositions and reinterpretations, although it would mostly be love songs.
Almost all of the songs in the album will be about heartbreaks because Filipinos love to get in touch with their emotions, Jennylyn said. Three of the original songs were composed by Vehnee Saturno.
She will be working with Derek Ramsay for a movie “English Only Please,” an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival this December. Jennylyn said this is her dream role. This is also her first comedy role in her 10 years in showbiz, so she’s very excited for it.
