Nikki Gil Posts Photo With Rumored Boyfriend

For the first time, Nikki Gil posted a photo with her rumored boyfriend, BJ Albert. It seems that the photo was taken during the wedding of a common friend.

The two started dating early 2014, but until now, Nikki remained mum about the status of their relationships. BJ is also from Ateneo de Manila University, where Nikki graduated from college. The two belong to the same circle of friends.

He is a psychology graduate of Ateneo, and currently co-owns a restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

The two are often seen going out on group dates with Nikki’s friends that include singer Paolo Valenciano and his wife, Sam Godinez-Valenciano, and blogger Patty Laurel-Filart.

Nikki and Billy Crawford broke up in 2013 after the international singer was rumored to be with Coleen Garcia. Billy and Coleen are now officially together.

Iya Villania Defends Nikki Gil’s Virginity

Iya Villania defended her friend, Nikki Gil, against some bashers questioning the former’s no premarital sex vow.

On Nikki’s Instagram post on January 6, a fan of Coleen Garcia, Nikki’s ex-boyfriend Billy Crawford’s current girlfriend, said that it is impossible for Nikki to be still a virgin since she went abroad with Billy for a couple of times.

Nikki and Billy were together for five years until they broke up in July 2013. Shortly thereafter, Billy got together with Coleen, who has been receiving criticisms for her liberal lifestyle.

The Instagram user with handle @_mrsencar questioned why everyone was believing Nikki when she said she’s still a virgin. She asked the actress-singer not to deny the fact that she went abroad with Billy twice or even thrice during their relationship.

She said it’s impossible for them not to have sex during that time. She also mentioned that Coleen has been receiving a lot of bashing because of what happened.

The following comments became heated up as Nikki’s fans also defended the actress-singer.

Iya, a close friend of Nikki, couldn’t help herself and also defended Nikki. She maintained that her friend is still a virgin. “And the only time she traveled abroad with Billy was for work. It was not a vacation (peace sign).”

The debate between Nikki’s and Coleen’s fans started when Coleen and Billy started posting photos of their Maldives vacation. Nikki, on the other hand, vacationed with her family in Italy.

Nikki and Coleen have not spoken about the issue.

It can be remembered that on the cover of Cosmopolitan December 2013 issue, Nikki admitted that a third party caused her’s and Billy’s breakup. She also answered speculations that the reason why they broke up was because of her no premarital sex vow.

Nikki said: “O, sige! ‘Yan na ang kapintasan ko, boohoo!” If that was the issue, then Billy didn’t really deserve her. Nobody told her to stay a virgin. It was her own choice, Nikki added.

Sex is something she values, she said.

Coleen has since been dragged into the controversial breakup. Billy denied this, and said they officially became a couple in July 2014.

Since 2008, Nikki has been wearing a purity ring given to her by her mother. This symbolized her no-sex-before-marriage vow. Until now, Nikki wears that ring, as seen on her Instagram post last January 1.

Some though it was an engagement ring, at some point. Nikki is currently dating a non-showbiz guy named BJ Albert.

Billy Crawford Maintains Coleen Garcia And Nikki Gil Did Not Overlap

Billy Crawford argued that his relationships with Coleen Garcia and Nikki Gil did not overlap despite what others may think.

It can be remembered that Billy and Nikki broke up in June last year amid rumors that Billy and Coleen are already an item.

The TV host-singer, however, said he only started courting Coleen in July or August last year, and they officially became a couple by July of this year.

They went through a long courtship process because they didn’t want to force love. They are together every day for their noontime show, “It’s Showtime.”

There is no disadvantage that they see each other every day in the show because actually, they get to spend a lot of time together and they get to know each other.

Billy said Coleen brings out the best in him, and she actually makes him feel young.

What he loves most about Coleen is the strength of her character, especially when they were going through many controversies together. The latest scandal was when Billy got drunk and was detained in a Taguig jail.

It’s a blessing in disguise, Billy said, because he saw how strong his girlfriend is. He can trust her with anything.

They have a 10-year-gap, but Billy said she’s more mature in handling their relationship. “Pero 98.9 percent of the time siya ang tama.”

Billy said Coleen is “the one” for him, and he would love to settle down with her and raise a family together. However, it has to be the right time for them. Coleen is only 22 years old.

He doesn’t want her to stop thinking about her priorities because she’s still young. Coleen wants to pursue her acting career and she wants to go back to school.

“I want it to be the perfect time for her and for me.”

Billy said he also wants to go back to school and take up a business course. He plans to start a business soon for his future family.

Nikki Gil Is Not Happy About Billy Crawford’s Controversy

This is what actress-singer Nikki Gil has to say when asked about the recent controversy involving ex-boyfriend Billy Crawford. Nikki said it would be better if she will just respect the other parties.

Billy was detained last weekend because of ranting in a community precinct in Taguig City after the Star Magic Ball 2014. He allegedly pushed a police officer and damaged a sliding glass door.

The “It’s Showtime” host is facing charges of malicious mischief and disobedience to a person in authority.

Nikki said she doesn’t understand why she is being asked about something that does not involve her at all. Nikki and Billy were together for more than five years until Billy broke after he was linked to Coleen Garcia earlier this year.

Nikki has since moved on, and is now dating a non-showbiz guy who was part of her group from the Ateneo de Manila University.

The actress-singer said she’s very happy with her blooming relationship with BJ Albert, a businessman who owns a bar and restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. Nikki added she would like to keep her new relationship away from the spotlight because her previous one was under the limelight already.

Meanwhile, Nikki is busy with her projects like “Hawak Kamay” with Iza Calzado and Piolo Pascual. She’s also doing a movie, although she cannot give details yet.

Nikki has done theater plays in the past, but that is not her focus now because she would like to be in several television shows. She was a part of “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” “Sweet Charity,” “They’re Playing Our Song,” and “The Last 5 Years.”

She wants to give her fans what they want from her, Nikki said, adding that as long as there’s room for her to continue with stage plays and television shows, then she’s going to do it.

Abs Cbn Says Billy Crawford Was Not Suspended

ABS-CBN spokesman Bong Osorio clarified that Billy Crawford was not suspended from his hosting duties on “It’s Showtime,” adding that the singer-TV host was simply taking a break from the noontime show after the incident involving him and police officers in Taguig City last weekend.

Rumors that he was suspended came out after his co-hosts announced on Monday he won’t be seen in the show for now. His girlfriend, Coleen Garcia, was also absent for two days, but started attending the show again on Wednesday.

Coleen said Billy wants to thank his fans and supporters, but he is now busy with his movie, “Moron 5.” He is also grateful to those who continue to defend him against his critics.

His girlfriend also said Billy is okay after the incident wherein he went to the Taguig Community Precinct 7 to have himself detained or arrested because he was drunk from partying after the Star Magic Ball.

When he was not detained, Billy apparently pushed a police officer and damaged a sliding glass door. He is now facing charges of malicious mischief and disobedience to a person in authority.

Two Policewomen Denied Billy Crawford’s Claims Of Non Violence

Two police female officers denied the claims made by TV host-actor Billy Crawford that he did not turn physical when he went to the Taguig Community Precinct on Sunday to have himself arrested or detained.

In a statement, Billy said he went to the precinct because he was drunk and wanted to be stopped, so he won’t turn violent. However, when the police did not detain him, reports said he punched a desk officer and damaged a sliding glass door.

The TV host-actor denied this, and said he accidentally damaged the glass door, but did not punch anyone.

But in a report by “24 Oras,” PO1 Rodelma Canao and PO1 Jasmine Zipagan said they were the ones who faced Billy when he arrived at the station.

The TV host-actor turned physical and violent when he learned that there was no detention cell in the community precinct and that there was no transportation that can take him to the Taguig headquarters.

Canao said Billy counted to five in front of her face. He told her that if no one will take him to the headquarters by the time finished counting, he will destroy their office.

Suddenly, Billy turned violent and started to destroy things. He then kicked the sliding glass door. Aside from that, he also pushed Zipagan, who was lucky enough not to fall on the floor that was strewn with broken glass.

Billy, in the statement he released, said he never hurt anyone and he did not see anything wrong with what he did.

The two police officers also denied allegations made by Billy’s legal counsel, Atty. Jose Aspiras, that the reason why the TV host-actor turned violent was because he was not properly accommodated by the police.

Atty. Aspiras said Billy went to the precinct to ask for protection because he had a row with someone. Canao and Zipagan, however, maintained that they simply did their duties.

Southern Police Distruct Director Jose Erwin Villacorte also backed up the statements made by Canao and Zipagan.

The Taguig Prosecutor’s Office filed a malicious mischief and disobedience to a person in authority complaints against Billy.

Both the TV host-actor and his girlfriend Coleen Garcia will not be seen in “It’s Showtime” for the meantime. It is not clear if they were suspended by the ABS-CBN management. Coleen was not with Billy during the incident.
