Teen queen Kathryn Bernardo’s only reaction to the report that a source confirmed her relationship with teen king Daniel Padilla was “Wow, bago yun, a.”
Recently, a PEP report came out that a source confirmed the teen royalties are in a relationship already. This despite the fact that the two maintained they are just special friends.
Kathryn just turned 18 years old in March.
Asked if she already has a gift for Daniel for Christmas, Kathryn said she hasn’t had the time to buy one yet.
The two will star in the remake of the 1990s hit “Pangako Sa’Yo” that catapulted to fame the loveteam of Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales. Kathryn will play the role of Yna Macaspac while Daniel will be Angelo Buenavista.
Angelica Panganiban is going to reprise the role of Jean Garcia’s Madam Claudia Buenavista while Jodi Sta. Maria will be the iconic Amor Powers.
Kathryn said she’s excited to work together with Angelica and Jodi because that has always been her dream. She’s also grateful for having the chance to play the role of Yna for the series.
Meanwhile, “ASAP XIX” awarded Kathryn a gold record for her self-titled album that already sold 7,500 copies. She thanked those who supported her and believed in her singing abilities.
She doesn’t want to expect that her album will reach gold record, but she’s happy to know she still received the support of the people. Even in her small shows, so many people go just to see her perform.
If her album goes platinum, that will be a good Christmas gift for her, she added.
While there are those who support Kathryn, there are also some critics as to why she was given an album when she’s not even a singer. She gets hurt by these criticisms, of course, but she just chooses not to mind them because she can feel the love of her supporters.
