Actress Empress Schuck might be forced to leave the Kapamilya network if the management will not offer her any projects. Although she grew up as an actress with ABS-CBN, she said she has to move on to something better for her career.
Empress admitted there are offers from other networks, and that ABS-CBN has not laid down their plans for her yet. Her contract with the network is due to end next month.
Empress said she gave her loyalty to ABS-CBN, and that she loves the network. However, as an artist, she cannot sacrifice her career for her love of a network.
She was a child star on the network. She played supporting roles during her teens until being launched as a leading lady in the afternoon soap “Rosalka.” The last regular project she did was “Mundo Man Ay Magunaw” in 2012 and a supporting role in 2013’s “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.”
Although Empress wants to stay with ABS-CBN, she admitted there are no offers for her right now. She misses doing teleserye and her camp is negotiating with the management about what their plans for the actress are.
Pero siguro they have their own reason kung bakit wala.
If ABS-CBN will offer her a good project, Empress will stay with her home network. But she maintained that she has to hear good plans for her career. There should be definite plans that the management will take care of her.
Maybe it is time for Empress to finally move on with her career–and that might mean transferring to another network.
